Updates! My opinions on Adobe has been very vocal, I do not like there choices recently. Lightroom is catastrophically slow, colour is awful and Lightroom CC is a joke. Photoshop, on the other hand, is great and has been hard for me to replace but I am actively trying options. The main point is that there are options now and Adobe in the interim has been conducting itself like Canon Cameras in this regard. Not innovating because of the stranglehold on the lead. I for one will not be bullied or corralled to hand over money to a company that does not care about its users.
Replace lightroom with Capture One people! It is better, faster and your images will improve dramatically. The colour processing is incredible. It is comparable to the difference between Adobe Premiere Pro against Black Magic DaVinci Resolve. There is no comparison. Here are the updates below, I love the Normalisation tool, honestly you have no idea until you try it how good this is.
FROM CAPTURE ONE:
IMPROVED STYLES AND PRESETS
A new workflow adds a much faster way to apply both Styles and Presets to a Layer on one or multiple images, offering a direct control of opacity, imperative to wedding and portrait photographers.
Furthermore, a new Spring Styles Pack is included, offering bright pastel color grading to images, particularly helpful to wedding, portrait and landscape photography.
The Resource Hub has been introduced to offer quick access to free learning resources via a dynamic on-screen portal. Tutorials, news, webinars, blog posts and much more are offered in one convenient location to improve the user experience and learning curve with Capture One.
The normalization tool provides a reference point for exposure and white balance for batch adjustments, now allowing any color to be used when previously the only option was a neutral grey.

A Little About Me. #bio #nerd #aspiration
My name is Eli Samuel, my passion is to empower artists to bring a little bit more beauty into the world one image at a time. I am a little nerdy, a little crass and an endless chatterbox. Blogging is my way of giving back. I read the posts published by the photographic heroes regularly like Steve Huff, Ken Rockwell etc. I thought to myself, stop being selfish! My dream is to grace the cover of Vogue Italia. I am coming for you Vogue! Help me get there.
